Did You Know?
If you´re playing a hitter who connects well enough to be able to hit a variety of angles, you´ll need to cover more area with your block. Since you´re up there by yourself, you´ll need to get tricky at times. Try setting up as if you were going to block line, thus making your opponent think the angle shot is open. Since the angle is generally their best shot, they´ll usually fall for the bait. At the last possible second, move your arms quickly into the angle lane, and take that shot away. Sometimes, you´ll be able to stop several of those shots in a row before your opponent figures out what you´re doing.

Add Headlines

You can now add headlines from to your website to keep your readers up-to-date on the latest volleyball events, scores and news. Your site will always be up-to-the minute! Just add the following single line of html code to one of your web pages, and the headlines will automatically update with each new release.

<script language="javascript" src=""></script>

The headlines will appear in any font, size, style, background and color you set. Here's one example...

Customizing Your Headlines
If you'd like even more control over your headline integration, you can add the following block of code to your page anywhere above the hl.js call to customize the results.

<script language="JavaScript"><!--

var vbs_numheadlines = 8;
var vbs_linkcolor = "#444444";
var vbs_header = true;
var vbs_bullet = true;
var vbs_date = false;
// --></script>

These variables control number of headlines displayed (up to 15), the hexadecimal color to use for linked text, inclusion/exclusion of the VolleyballSeek Today title, inclusion/exclusion of the bullet in front of the headlines and also the inclusion/exclusion of the posting date below the headline.

A Graphical Treatment
If you'd like your headlines to have that "official" look and feel, you could add a decorated headline block like this...

... by adding the following code.

<table width="293" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0">
<tr><td bgcolor="#ffffcc" width="100%">

<a href=""
target="_blank"><img src="" border="0"></a></td></tr>
<tr><td bgcolor="#ffffcc" width="100%">
<font face="Arial" color="#000000" size="2">
<script language="javascript"><!--
var vbs_numheadlines = 6;
var vbs_linkcolor = "#444444";
var vbs_header = false;
// --></script>
<br><blockquote><script language="javascript" src=""></script>

Have fun!
